The Morning Quote (Moore or Less)

It’s not the size of the gun…

LATimes back in September:

“In response to a question from one of the only African Americans in the audience — who asked when Moore thought America was last “great” — Moore acknowledged the nation’s history of racial divisions, but said:

“I think it was great at the time when families were united — even though we had slavery — they cared for one another…. Our families were strong, our country had a direction.”

…so I guess we know why Hair Führer endorsed him. Axios morning email thingie has some other interesting info in a listcicle of sorts:

  • President Trump has endorsed Moore, the Republican National Committee is helping elect him, and most Senate Republicans — while uncomfortable with him — have fallen silent on the allegations.
  • GOP sources tell us if Moore wins, senators are highly unlikely to fight to boot him.
  • A Washington Post poll found that nearly 6 in 10 white women in Alabama are likely to vote for Moore.

  2. Conclusion: We’re staring into the 2018 election season with the usual Democratic circular firing squad, armed with gatling guns like Jesse Ventura had in Predator while the GOP is on their usual Burn ALL the things! scorched-earth win-at-all-costs tactics.

GOP voters openly say they will support a child molester over a Democrat.

Meanwhile the Dims are ‘we must find a way to work with our Republican Colleagues’-ing our way right into the fucking cattle cars leading into the fucking ovens…

Weird how they think that slavery was good for black people, but having a three-day waiting period for purchasing a gun is tyranny.
