Tiger Beat on the Potomac (thanks Charlie!) morning email thingie is always bifurcated between news and gossip (and often hard to tell the difference); sometimes they have something like the Society pages of old wherein we in the hoi polloi get to peek into the lives of the Hoity-Toity.
OUT AND ABOUT — STEVE BANNON and BREITBART hosted a party and book signing last night for Laura Ingraham’s new book “Billionaire at the Barricades: The Populist Revolution from Reagan to Trump” at the Breitbart Embassy on Capitol Hill. After STEPHEN MILLER showed up during the middle of the party, everyone got quiet and Bannon told the crowd: “By order of the president of the United States, we have a special guest, someone I know is dear to Laura Ingraham’s heart and dear to all of ours, the last man behind enemy lines …
“We’ve done so many historic things in this house. We talked about the dinner with Jeff Sessions and you in 2013 when you were just a young staffer, Julia Hahn and her plotting the Dave Brat campaign, Nigel Farage … We counted the votes on Obamatrade downstairs, remember? We’ve done so much here and we’re so proud for you to join us tonight.”
MILLER also briefly spoke: “I have to say I’m here in my personal capacity but just wanted to congratulate you Laura and your incredible book which I know will be a huge success and also everything that you’ve done for so many years for this movement, nation-state populism … Thank you to everybody at Breitbart for everything you’ve done for years now for that same movement and giving hope to millions of people all around the country who believe that a nation ought to take care of its own people first and everything else flows down from that.” Audio of Bannon and Miller http://bit.ly/2zCAVlV … More audio of Bannon and Ingraham http://bit.ly/2gSN6TO …

It’s like opening your mailbox and discovering a nest of earwigs. One of the help should have floated something in their swastika-shaped punchbowl.

They are all intertwined like some terrible toxic virus. Too bad we don’t have a “Separation of nazi’s from State” decree, but then the one between “Church and State” didn’t work out so well either.
What is going to take to get the nazi’s out of Government? I thought my Dad and others whupped their ass for good back in the mid 40’s
Very Sad

Hmmm. Suspiciously, I didn’t see Kid Rock or Ted Nugent on that list. Hoity-Toity Conservatives if there ever were any. You betcha, my friend.

nation-state populism. Funny I do not recall any of the “founding Fathers” seeking to create a nation-state. I may have to brush up on my Declarations and Constitutions to see if I missed it there.
Patriots, all of them . . . Patriots advancing the American Idea and their puke funnels.
