Well-played, Warriors, Well-played!

Axios email alert!

After Trump called out Stephen Curry in a tweet this morning (rescinding his invitation to the White House), his team stood with him and announced they will not be attending the White House visit at all.

While we intended to meet as a team at the first opportunity we had this morning to collaboratively discuss a potential visit to the White House,” the statement read, “we accept President Trump has made it clear that we are not invited.”

“We believe there is nothing more American than our citizens having the right to express themselves freely on matters important to them,” the statement continued. “We’re disappointed that we did not have an opportunity during this process to share our views or have an open dialogue on issues impacting our communities that we felt would be important to raise.

You cannot buy this kinda PR!

Methinks that Chief of Staff John Kelly is going to have a dent in his forehead before Comrade Preznint Stupid You’re Fired’s him outta the Fourth Reich.

More blowback here.

I know this is a rhetorical question, what in heaven’s name is the matter with Trump? His fight with black athletes demonstrating in silent protest by kneeling during the national anthem is insanely counterproductive. It highlights his own overt racism directly because it is obvious that his rage at the protesters is directed towards black athletes registering their opposition to police killing black citizens for no reason (except race) and getting away Scot-free. It also highlights his own administration’s obscene, official laissez-faire attitude towards this will because of his racist attorney general’s canceling of the program to oversee local police departments that do nothing about such lawlessness.

Of course the fallacy behind my question is believing that reason has anything to do with Trump’s behavior. He seems to be on a rage-filled tear where he lashes out at anyone or anything that interferes with his sick, white supremacist view of America and how it “should be.”

And what’s up with this madness about football being “ruined” by penalties associated with excessive force in tackling etc.? I guess he views professional professional athletes as latter-day gladiators whose bodies are expendable, for his entertainment.

This fucker would be perfectly at home during the later Roman era as a degeneate Emperor obsessed with the munera. Somebody like Commodus.

When are we going to get rid of this monster?
