We Hope Robert Mueller Watched Maddow

The first 4+ minutes are really essential.

It’s amazing what one can discern from putting together a timeline. This is such good journalism 101 and so few news organizations are doing it.

It seems that actual journalism is just so unseemly that it’s alternative ‘infotainment’ is a legitimate business decision, or so I’m told.

I remember feeling a change in The Farce when Entertainment Tonight debuted. In the Bay Area, it came on right about the 6PM hour and it competed with the real news.

I remember thinking that it was the equivalence of opening the NYT and finding a tabloid.

It felt like a shock. 20+ years later it now feels like a shock when someone like Maddow does actual journalism.

Now that you mention it, Mary Hart’s hot legs on ET may have influenced Rupert’s plans for Fox “News.”

      • tengrain says:

I read somewhere, Bruce388, that Hart’s legs were insured for over $1M Ameros each by Lloyds.

I still try to figure out how she did that weird pretzel leg crossing thing, you know: cross the knees, and then cross the ankles).

I remember reading the same thing, Ten. Talent needs to be insured.
