I kinda liked this:

We do need to get the left united, and the new book is only going to get everyone nit-picking and being defensive again. We on the left won the vote, as Seth points out, we lost the election because of the Electoral College.

Focus, people. We have a common goal.

(And again, for the record: I supported Bernie in the primary and supported Hillary in the general; I don’t regret that decision even slightly.)

We’ll always miss Colbert doing his right-wing idiot schtick, but Meyers and John Oliver make up for its loss.

And I did the exact same thing. It never dawned on me that ANYONE supporting Bernie would turn and vote for the ugly, vulgar, orange comb-over. Never. But they did. That’s a whole lotta’ spite and stew-pud.

I recently heard a clip of Hillary reading from her book, out a mere 9-months after the election, and just cringed at the writing. So bad, so whining, so….oh, gawd-awful.

“What makes me such a lightning rod for fury? I’m really asking. I’m at a loss…I think it’s partly because I’m a woman.” – Hillary. Oh, God. You haven’t figured that out, Hillary?

“(Sanders’) attacks “caused lasting damage, making it harder to unify progressives in the general election and paving the way for Trump’s ‘Crooked Hillary’ campaign.” As if that didn’t already exist? You know what works against an argument like that? A better argument. That you didn’t make.

She takes on Obama and Biden – both of whom campaigned for her? On Sanders who told all his supporters to vote for her? This SELF-SERVING book will not help anyone but Hillary and did not have to be written. Period.

But it’s time to look forward. It takes years to prepare to run. Hillary started when she stepped down from State, but had been planning for years before that. So who’s out there now we can run against the orange demagogue? Can’t be Hillary again, and it can’t be Sanders; so…who? Clock is ticking….

Me too. Even though I am not a Sanders supporter. He’s too old to serve as president and his stance on guns makes me itch.

Sanders, Biden, Warren. All fine people and all over 70. Someone in the 50s age range would be good, especially if Trump survives his declining mental capacity, his diet, the investigations, and the Russians.
