When I read this article, “Over a quarter of the members on Trump’s cybersecurity advisory council have resigned en masse,” a week ago, and it resurfaced yesterday, I was overcome by rage and fear.
Read this excerpt from the letter and you’ll understand why:
Trump’s actions, the letter said, “have threatened the security of the homeland I took an oath to protect.”
Followed by this: Trump Cybersecurity Advisors Resign
A quarter of the members of the National Infrastructure Advisory Council, whose purview includes national cybersecurity, have resigned. In a group resignation letter, they cited both specific shortfalls in the administration’s approach to cybersecurity, and broader concerns that Trump and his administration have undermined the “moral infrastructure” of the U.S.
Nextgov published the resignation letter that the departing councilors submitted if you’d like to read it.
What the fuck?!
Who is going to fight cyberterrorism based on cybersecurity threats? Trump prides himself on never having used computers, and has no desire to learn. The tangerine refers to cybersecurity as “The Cyber.” — I digress, WTF?!
Cyber warfare is a real and present danger. Ohio sites hacked with IS message, Russian hackers targeted 21 states during presidential election says government cyber expert, finally, FBI arrest may be first linked to OPM hack.
The FBI may have made its first arrest in connection with the hack that stole the data of 21.5 million current and former federal employees.
Cyberterrorism is as life threatening as a physical bomb.
The man staining the Oval Office cannot grasp the severity of these issues. When seven Cybersecurity advisors resign, once again, it revealed how perilous Trump is. Yet, the GOP continues to put American lives at risk by keeping him in office. You’d think for selfish reasons alone, republicans would comprehend that their own lives are at risk, too. But, no, they’re greedy, racist fucks who think they can squeeze Trump’s mini ball sack to sign off on their lets-fuck-America-bills. Repulsively, that usurps logic.
