Activism: Saving The ACA: Ask Not For Whom The Bell Tolls

No man is an island, entire of itself; every man is a piece of the continent, a part of the main. If a clod be washed away by the sea, Europe is the less, as well as if a promontory were, as well as if a manor of thy friend’s or of thine own were: any man’s death diminishes me, because I am involved in mankind, and therefore never send to know for whom the bells tolls; it tolls for thee.”

John Donne (1572-1631), Devotions Upon Emergent Occasions, Meditation XVII: Nunc Lento Sonitu Dicunt, Morieris:

The August recess is almost over. We will soon be called upon to stand together and fight the depredations inflicted upon us by the R’s.

Be prepared. THey haven’t stopped trying to hurt us, they’ve only paused to regroup. I expect them to try to slip something past us with their tax cut package.

Keep your phones handy.
