Happy Hour News Briefs

“Four-score and seven years ago, I said, “Bitches ain’t shit but hoes and tricks…”

Xristian Xrazie self-taught constitutional scholar and historical fabulist David Barton (who may or may not have a doctorate, but who does have a record of writing history books pulped by his publisher because of his embarrassing factual errors) looks at the historical data and tells us how generals serve at the pleasure of the president:

No doubt. It’s going to be interesting to see how long it takes to reverse so many years of bad policies. We’ve still got bad policies from the Clinton years and eight years now of Obama.

You had the question about “how do you get the generals changed?” As [General Jerry Boykin currently executive vice president at the Family Research Council] answered, most of the senior leaders in the military today were chosen by Obama because his support of the Obama administration the reason Jerry is not an active duty, and it’s the same for any General, Generals do not get to serve at the pleasure of the military. They serve at the pleasure of the president…

…So if Obama wants to get rid of guys like Jerry, which he did, and bring in a different set of guys than he can do that. I mean, that’s the president’s prerogative…

Except, you stupid Gob, Boykin was the United States Deputy Undersecretary of Defense for Intelligence under President George W. Bush from 2002 to 2007 and retired before Chimpy was out of office.

Seriously, how hard would it be to look this up?
