What’s Not Normal Today (Day 208)

Comrade Preznint Stupid picks his fights carefully.

It only took 72 hours for the mango-hued shitgibbon to stand on his hind legs and try for a do-over on the Charlottesville Terrorism by perfunctorily reading a message written by someone else which never mentions domestic terrorism.

The AP tells us that behind the scenes Preznint Stupid…

“Loath to appear to be admitting a mistake, Trump was reluctant to adjust his remarks. … [He] expressed anger to those close to him about what he perceived as the media’s unfair assessment of his remarks, believing he had effectively denounced all forms of bigotry.”

“Several of Trump’s senior advisers, including new chief of staff John Kelly, … urged him to make a more specific condemnation, warning that the negative story would not go away and that the rising tide of criticism from fellow Republicans on Capitol Hill could endanger his legislative agenda.”

“Reading from a teleprompter, he made a point of beginning with an unrelated plug for the strength of the economy under his leadership. Then, taking pains to insist ‘as I said on Saturday,’ Trump denounced the hate groups.”

And here’s the message that took (we suspect Pee-Wee Goering)  72 hours to craft:

“Racism is evil. And those who cause violence in its name are criminals and thugs, including the KKK, neo-Nazis, white supremacists and other hate groups that are repugnant to everything we hold dear as Americans.”

In case you were wondering if Trump’s 3-days late condemnation of racism was sincere, well, let’s see what is Comrade Preznint Stupid’s real opinion:

And now that Comrade Preznint Stupid has finally choked on and spat out a hairball message, how do the FAKE NEWS show their gratitude?

  • N.Y. Times columnist Frank Bruni, “Trump Cannot Redeem Himself”: “[T]he length of his delay upped the ante on his delivery, which was passionless.”
  • Trump-friendly NY Post : “Trump: OK, yes, racists are bad.”

But all is not lost: Jesse Watters on Fox says “These same people who were mad at President Trump for saying ‘radical Islam,’ now all of a sudden want him to say ‘white supremacy’?” Unknown if he said it while mimicking a blow job.

And as long as we are discussing the (alleged and probable) racism of Preznint Stupid, we think this is a good time to mention that he is publicly talking about pardoning former Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio, a man well known as a foe of swarthy people.

“Is there anyone in local law enforcement who has done more to crack down on illegal immigration than Sheriff Joe?”

Arpaio is facing prison time for defying a court order to stop arresting undocumented immigrants.

The theme of the day is Trump’s (probable) racism, and so we note that when Merck’s CEO Kenneth Frazier quit one of Preznint Stupid’s symbolic councils (“Made in America Week!”), Hair Führer found the time to attack him before he found time to attack domestic terrorism:

Why, it only seems like a week ago that Comrade Preznint Stupid was saying that Frazier was a business genius. Later in the day, 2 MORE CEOs have quit Mr. Art-of-the-Deal’s councils, but so far no comment from our racist in chief. You see, Frazier is black, the other dudes are white.

Coinkydink? yeah, whatevs.

Shouldn’t he have referred to the TERRORIST as a Radicalized CHRISTIAN Extremist, maybe send the FBI to his church to interview the preacher and church goers???

    • tengrain says:

Sean666 – I have not seen anything linking the Dodge Charger driver to Xristian extremism (admittedly I have not looked for it); if you have please send us a link and I’ll update.

      • Sean666 says:

You are right, I was actually just trying to make the point of jumping to conclusions about a terrorists religious affiliation before the facts are know.

But if we want to accurately label the driver it would be “Radicalized Republican Extremist” and the orange baboon is the one doing the radicalizing. I actually typed bafoon and spell check changed it to baboon, both fit.

  2. roket says:

This proves that Democrats are smarter than republicans. Obama was able to get away with being a secret Muslim for 8 years. Trump can’t even go 8 months being a secret White Supremacist.

  3. Trump and the rest of the GOP world keep insisting CEO’s are the titans/heroes/jerbcreattahs/Randian supermen whom we should all shower with munnies, taxbreaks and free blow jobs (see! jerb creattauh!!). But when push comes to “Nazis are bad, mkay?” they’re all

All a-skeered of the orange shitgibbon’s teensy fingers on his twittwat app?

Ordinary people are going up against the nazis and kkk (who are frequently heavily armed) with nothing more than signs and their bodies, and these ‘Randian supermen’ can’t gin up the courage to denounce NAZI’s??

(and not even wealthy industrial Nazi’s like the OG Nazis that Grandpappy Bush lurved him some, but Trumpeteer Nazis whose main exports are butthurt, cartoon frogs and twatter rants?)

Wrong again, Jess. Almost no one was upset about whether or not Trump said “radical Islam.” You’re thinking of wingnuts prior to January 2017. They were mad at the Kenyan Usurper because he DIDN’T say it. And now those same people can’t bring themselves to denounce unreconstructed traitors and Nazis.
