What’s Not Normal Today (Day 205)

OK, aside from the White Nationalists and KKK rally last night, today we learn that Comrade Preznint Stupid is now threatening Venezuala:

“Venezuela is not very far away, and the people are suffering, and they’re dying. We have many options for Venezuela, including a possible military option, if necessary.”

And it is notable because in true shitgibbon fashion Hair Führer refused to speak to Venezuala’s President Nicolas Maduro on the phone. “Tell him I’m washing my hair,” Trump didn’t shout to his chief of staff, as he burnished the pelt he would wear today.

And then Commander Pull-Ups told the Governor of Guam (the US territory that is being directly threatened to be nuked by North Korea) to expect untold riches from tourism:

“And your tourism, I can say this, your tourism is going to go up like tenfold with the expenditure of no money, so I congratulate you,” Trump added. “It looks beautiful, you know I’m watching– it’s such a big story in the news. It just looks like a beautiful place.”

Meanwhile, Preznint Stupid’s Secretary of the Navy, Richard V. Spencer is kinda-sorta hedging a direct order to throw the transpeople out:

U.S. Navy Secretary Richard V. Spencer said he would follow directions from the president on transgender people in the military but believes “any patriot” should be allowed to serve.

And a comic shall lead them:

I hope that Chelsea Handler doesn’t suffer the same fate as Kathy Griffin. We need our funny ladies more now than ever. But as that was not a visual severed head meme, I suspect it will be milder.

  1. Big Bad Bald Bastard says:

He’s just saying he’ll invade Venezuela because his golf game was rained out and he played Risk in the clubhouse instead.

  2. What got me was the expressions on Nikki Haley’s face as he said that. She was smiling for the cameras, then went all “Da Fuq???” when he started bloviating about military options, before settling into her resting FML face…
