Trump picks a new golf partner.

Secret Service spends $13,500 on golf cart rentals for President Trump’s Bedminster trip

President Trump insists he’s on a “working vacation,” but that hasn’t stopped the Secret Service from spending $13,500 on golf cart rentals ahead of this go-round in Bedminster, N.J.

A purchase order, pulled by progressive super PAC American Bridge and reviewed by USA TODAY, showed the agency signed the golf cart rental contract last week, the day before the president left for his 17-day vacation up at Trump National Golf Club.

The New York vendor providing the golf carts to the Secret Service has daily, weekly and month rental rates. Weekly rates range from $500 to $900 a cart, depending on the model and monthly rates range from $750 to $1,200 a cart.

  1. Dudes, a Golf cart costs (went and looked…holeesheet!) about $12K new. Presumably you’ll be getting a volume discount, but you all better buy ’em because renting ’em every weekend’s gonna get expensive.

and need I add, had President Obama done *anything* like this the GOP and their Pig People would have been howling and rampaging around the WH like blue-painted Picts for his head.

Wait a minute, Trump is going to take a vacation at his own resort, and the Secret Service has to rent golf carts for him for use at his own freaking resort? I guess he owns the golf cart rental company.

Need I add, what a cheap grifting bastard?

I wonder what the cost of a bullet proof ‘golf cart’ is today? Damn, and they have to rent them at his resort? The really need to fly in their own, government issue carts.

If he’d stop picking his nose he would be more presidential than Lincoln.
