No Second Acts In American Politics

“I love it when a plan comes together!”

Kicking obvious anagram Reince Priebus when he’s down is now a national sport:

…In 2011, [Priebus] won the RNC chair by running against his own boss, then-chairman Michael Steele. Despite big wins in the 2010 midterm elections, party activists had become dissatisfied with what they viewed as Steele’s mismanagement and penchant for gaffes. Steele knew he would have challengers when he sought another term as chairman—but he didn’t expect a challenge from Priebus, his general counsel, whom he considered a teammate.

“This is the bed Reince has been making for himself since he was my general counsel,” Steele told me. “He’s a guy who’s always positioning himself for the next thing. Karma’s a bitch, ain’t it?

I have no love for Reince, he’s a hack’s hack. He knew what he was getting into when he boarded the Trumptanic, and so his spectacular Apprentice-style denouement was indeed entertaining. His next gig will be interesting to trace: I cannot imagine Fox News hiring anyone who was You’re Fired’ed as by definition they are LOSERS. I’m not sure if any of the news networks would want his as he is both boring and a known liar, except CNN of course who are only in the bidness of pitting talking heads against each other in He-said/She-said screamathons.

Prince Rebus is not a shouter so I’m not seeing him on CNN actually. I could see him going back to Minnesota and doing the weather for some local TV station.

And the Mooch is gone. Bada-bing. I shouldn’t have voted Rexxon off of the boat so fast.
