HA HA HA!! Ya gotta wonder what horrible experience these canines had with the pussies.

Some cousins took in a German shepherd that had mauled a cat in its previous home. Cousins had a cat that strolled in front of the dog. The dog growled. After the gash in the dog’s nose healed, peace reigned.

Wonderful! But these are sensitive, civilized dogs, not pushy types. Our beagle-mix rescue, now 3, adores and is fascinated by Jingle the cat, and expresses it by jumping at him, slobbering on him, insistently bouncing and playing when Jing is cornered. The latter is extraordinarily patient, but has landed some good nose smacks in self-defense. But nothing deters the dog. It’s all psychology.
