Some Stupid For Your Coffee, Doughy?

World’s Best Son and Legacy Hire

Jonah Goldberg has sumpin’ to say to all the ‘mos:

You know, I’m really damn tired of all the people running around making other people extremely uncomfortable then screaming about their rights and privileges when called out. If you want to go around making people uncomfortable, you’ve got the problem, not the rest of us.

It all starts with Mike Enzi who has enraged the BLT&GQ [Ed: Note that Doughy doesn’t correctly use the usual Alphabet dismissal.] community by declaring a simple fact. If a guy walks into a bar in Wyoming, he’s probably going to get punched. Enzi said the person would deserve it, which he apologized for, and the guy would not deserve it. But it is probably going to happen and yes, the dude wearing the tutu shoulders some of the responsibility. He should have known better.

And spare me the tirade about Matthew Shepherd. [Ed: Are there no editors? His name is Matthew Shepard; at least have the courtesy to correctly ID the person you are hating-on, especially since he is DEAD, you know, because of his sexuality.]

I know liberals in their coastal bubbles of homogenized whiteness and skinny jeans think everyone else has to think like them — not does, but has to — but the reality is we don’t. We are a culturally heterogeneous nation with diverse cultural norms. If a guy walks into a bar in Wyoming wearing make up and a tutu, he’s probably going to be asked to leave, if not picked on or punched. If you don’t like that, don’t go to a bar in Wyoming wearing a tutu. It really is that simple. This is not a justification of violence, but let’s not kid ourselves that there won’t be an expectation of violence, however unjustified.

I’m sure everyone already sees this is a variation of the scold that women have faced since forever: by wearing X you deserve to have Y happen. Skirt, blouse, bikini, burka, it doesn’t matter, because ever since Eve, these knuckle-draggers have no control over their actions when they see temptation. We can now add men in tutus to that list.

Odd how sex and violence intersect in the minds of conservatives, innit?

But being Doughy, he cannot leave bad enough alone; he sees a chance to attack The Skirts and he takes it, what with being an equal opportunity, pluralistic, kinda guy:

Now the latest outrage is a mom who decided to openly breast feed in church. While I have no problem with a mother doing this, a lot of people do. It is why even freaking Obamacare demanded businesses have lactation rooms where women could breastfeed in private.

But what does this mom do? Instead of realizing she was making a church full of people uncomfortable, she ran to the internet to shame the church. Lady, you are not a victim. You are just rude and inconsiderate of others. And now you’re going to lawyer up against a church? The rest of the congregants have a right not to be made uncomfortable by one self-centered mother.

So Doughy, did you stand up for the ACA (with the lactation rooms)? Asking for a friend.

So ladies, your right to feed your kid is interfering with Doughy’s right to be a troglodyte. Why don’t you just stay at home tethered to your spawn as Doughy’s Gawd intended. By the way, no maternity leave for you! Better get a good man to take care of you.

How does the Pantload end this Pas de Derp, you ask:

If you want to breastfeed in public, go to a different chuch. [sic]

If you want to wear a tutu in a bar, go to San Francisco.

But stop your bitching that others have to go along with your “rights.” Get over yourself.

Yes, everyone Doughy disapproves of needs to accommodate HIM. It’s his straight [white] male rights that matter.

We don’t think that everybody has to think like us- we’re not the ones killing people for who they are.

  2. Bruce388 says:

Doughy probably shouldn’t waddle into any Wyoming cowboy bars. For his own good.

    • Retiredeng says:

Or San Francisco for that matter. The big burly gays don’t wear tutus and are not afraid of a little head bashing for fun and games.

“a right not to be made uncomfortable by one self-centered mother”
Blobby’s Sunday visit to dear, darling Mum may not have been successful . . . again.

Lucienne Goldberg is too dense to read between the lines, HarpoSnarx. If there is such a thing as an anti-blackhole of intelligence, it is she.

The Doughy Pantload once again invokes his imaginary right to not be offended.

    1. You have the right to choose to be offended by something.
    2. No one can predict what someone may choose to be offended by.
    3. You can choose to not to be offended.
Ergo you you do not have a right to not be offended.

So here’s your sammich: You want other people to censor themselves. You’re arguing for coercing people into a concession of their own rights. Aside from that being fucking impossible practically speaking because duh there are so many people of so many flavors, just fuck you. We will not be coerced because your poor widdle feefees are all hurty.

Gawdamn, Herr Lodenhosen gets douchebaggier by the day.

  7. DicTater says:

So, if I happen upon a doughy legacy, right wing douche who has never done anything worthwhile in his pathetic life and I am offended that such a dipshit is allowed in polite society, I am well within my rights to kick the shit out of said dipshit, leaving nothing but a battered dip? And then he just needs to “get over himself”? Good to know.

      DicTater –

We don’t really condone violence (much, though punching a Nazi is always acceptable).

As long as we are talking, in theory, about de-shitting the dipshit, than absolutely, carry-on.

That said, if Doughy is ever in Wyoming, I think Nature Will Take Her Course, and you need not touch him.

Loath though I am to encourage violence, and I mostly don’t condone it, let me know if you want any help.

  8. What gets me is the off-handed acceptance that the appropriate response to a man wearing a tutu walking into a bar is beating them up.

“Well of course they’d get beat up whaddya expect? Civilized behavior?”

  9. roket says:

Guess Doughy misses the good old days when bars had dress codes like: No hats, no jeans, no tennis shoes and no tutus.

  10. nonnie9999 says:

His last name is Goldberg, so if he runs into some anti-semites and gets the shit beat out of him, then it’s his own fault.
