Hell is Empty, The Devils Are All Here

These are the people who would take the soup bowl away from Oliver Twist, and then brag about it. It’s compassionate to take food out of the mouths of the hungry. He really is saying that.

Why should anyone believe him? This admin. lies about literally everything. If, in fact, there were studies that show that after-school food programs help with academic achievement, would he have NOT said this? The press is going to have to make its peace with the fact that nothing a Trump admin. spokesperson says is true–or at least with the probability that nothing is true. They should from now on be assumed guilty until proved innocent.

Agreed. I would go further and say that I don’t care if kids that get free meals perform better in school; it’s still a poor kid getting a meal and that, in and of itself, is an admirable thing. Performing better in school as a result is a side benefit.

I’m sorry, all I’ve got is…what a f*cking cold-hearted dick. Just kept looking at his papers while reporters were putting forward serious questions about how already vulnerable people will be tossed aside. Sick.

I have the same deep pit feeling I had during the fall’s HILLARY DEFEATS TRUMAN! press clippings. The social sadism won’t be enough to dislodge these demons. My countrymen are just plain mean fucks.

Although I don’t agree with fiscal conservatism I can understand it’s place in the political world, well…sort of.
What I can’t comprehend is the pure evil, malice, the soulless need of these people to deny food, healthcare and basic human services like clean water to those in need.
His comments might be semi-palatable if there really was free universal health care and no one took advantage of it.Or if every child’s parent(s) had a decent job and could afford to buy or supply their own food at school.
As far as Meals On Wheels goes……May their/his decision to end the program get his a prime place in hell.

Ah yes; the great Republican lie:
We’re taking dollars away from the desperate single-parent mother-of-two and using that money to feed granny.
When the TRUTH is: we’re taking 38 cents out of TEN DOLLARS of the WEALTHIEST ONE PERCENT to feed granny and the poor kids in school.
The Republicans are lying so they can give another TAX BREAK TO THE RICH.
    Greed.
It’s greed, plain and simple: today’s Republican party is the party of greed and excess.

Here, in a poor county in a poor state, a neighbor volunteers at the local high school. He also runs a monthly food distribution. He says there are students who only eat at school, so they don’t eat on the weekends.

Of course, the county, as rural counties tend to do, went for Trump bigly.
