Huh, so the DNC does not care about the progressive left and plans to continue its trend of losing races and seats. Kudos!

Perez gave a pretty great endorsement to the full country-wide down-to-the-county level strategy. I think the trick will now be for all of us to get involved to make that meaningful. I’ve just added to the Activism Tab contact information for every state’s Democratic Party. Contact them, get involved.

Of course they did. The fufcking fuckers. I’d like to kick the shit out of all the fucking DNC. Or is it the DLC? Who cares. Because they sure as shit don’t care.

I was rooting for Ellison, and let them know it as often and as forcefully as I could, so I’m disappointed.

But it was close, and Perez knows it, as do all the usual suspects, and they cannot help but be aware that the days of pushing the progressive off to the kiddie’s table are over.

If they want to avoid a schism and complete disarray, Perez will have to move, and I honestly think he will move, out of his normal comfort zone. And Ellison is no pushover either, and will be on hand to challenge any blatant bullshit.

So while this is certainly a less than optimal outcome from my point of view, it’s clear there’s no going back to the way things were under DWS, not now, not after the DLC’s entire strategy produced the one of the worst ass-kickings in party history.

Now we have less than two years to push these fuckers into at least recapturing the Senate, while at the same time letting Hair Führer and his minions know that most Americans think he’s full of shit and that we have the energy and determination to resist their agenda at every turn.

With that in mind, here’s a link to the resistance calendar which some might find useful to find details about (or add details about) protests and the like in their own neighborhood.
