The Death of the Media, Cont.

CNN scoops the world and has a right-wing former blogger on to say *gasp* Hair Führer Donald Trump might be nuts:

Cry me a eff’ing river, Sullivan. Where were you for the last 18 months when all of us uncouth, vituperative, foul-mouth bloggers of the Left were screaming this uncomfortable truth from the rooftops into an empty media?

Perhaps, CNN, you might want to open your studio to someone like, oh, Driftglass:

Who is this “we” you are talking about? “We” on the Left have been on the “Reality Based Community” beat since back in the day when Mr. Sullivan, Boy Journalist, was busy calling us a potential terrorist Fifth Column.

…and now Sullivan is cribbing all of us and being told how brave he is for speaking truth to power? Seriously, eff-him.

Go read Drifty’s entire post. It’s worth the 10 minutes or so to run through it. It’s loaded with vitamins and minerals and will give your coat a healthy glow.

Glenn Beck had his epiphany before Andrew Sullivan so there’s that also too. Guess this means small confused minds think alike too?

  2. Eighteen months? Try the last 15 or so years. Andrew Sullivan is a coward and a collaborator who tucked tail and ran in the early days of the election, but for years before he slung right-wing bullshit for The New Republic behind the cover of Log Cabin conservatism. Fuck him, and fuck his pathetic attempts to resurrect himself that the whores at CNN are all too desperate to aid him in.

      Thank you Randle, well-said.

(Also/too: I really hated the Daily Dish. I never understood why people liked it, but I also have never understood people who find great depth in David Brooks.)

    Sullivan is an opportunistic weasel.

Go read Drifty’s (entire) EVERY post.
    There. Fixed it for ya.
No one brings it like Driftglass.
In a better world, he’d have a Sunday Show that informed and brooked no weasling.
He’s got a smoking smart wife too. they say.
