I think I understand why the trend never quite caught on.
So… she’s literally a piece of furniture.
What if she has to go to the bathroom? “Hey, we’re still playing this game! If you want to get up, honey, better take off your skirt.”

in my younger days (and i’m a time traveler from the mid-20th century, so i’m talking about the 1950s and early 1960s) i would sometimes read the phrase “party girl” in the popular press – as an introvert who had led a sheltered life and was still too young to drink legally, “my experience was limited and underfed”, as bob dylan put it in one of his early songs – and so i wondered was meant by the term – if i had encountered this information then, i would have had a more detailed idea, although not necessarily a more accurate idea
