Alaska’s part-time governor and full-time grifter Sarah Palin

Another proud parenting moment for Mooselini: Track Palin enters plea deal in January domestic-violence case:

Track Palin, son of former Gov. Sarah Palin, has entered a plea agreement with the state in a special court for veterans for charges of punching a woman in the face at the family’s Wasilla home in January.

Kevin Fitzgerald, Track Palin’s attorney, said Friday his client had opted into Anchorage Veterans Court — a move Palin had been considering since May — during a Monday proceeding.

Court records show the agreement involved the state dropping two of three misdemeanor charges against Palin, including domestic-violence assault and interfering with the report of a domestic-violence crime.

…News reports of Track Palin’s arrest surfaced the next day, Jan. 19, just as ex-Gov. Palin was endorsing Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump. She later told reporters Track had returned from Iraq a bit different,” and criticized the Obama administration’s aid options for veterans suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder.

Little Trig remains the only likable (allegedly) Palin.

I could go into the whole ‘support the vets by getting your Repub congresscritters to approve adequate funding for the VA’ spiel, here, but since this aspect is not a bug in the Repub game plan, why bother? So I’m going personal here.
Anyone remember an old sitcom called “Grace Under Fire”? They did a bit when Grace’s neighbor, a VN vet, talked to her about PTSD and what his triggers were:
Bicycles – everyone rode a bicycle in Saigon.
I don’t really remember the second, I think it was crowds of kids because you never knew when one had a grenade or something.
But the third one was blueberries – he had an aunt who forced buckets of blueberries on him. The money quote: “All my trauma did not come from Southeast Asia”

    More solemnly:
PTSD and ADHD, there is a fair amount of research on both and there are three points I want to make here. I’ll try to keep it to the nickel version.
1 – There is a genetic allele for ADHD (some kids are just born with a tendency to the trait).
2 – If you read the DSM V sections on ADHD and on PTSD and the you find a lot of common diagnostic factors. Hmmmm.
3 – Even in combat related PTSD, there is a statistically significant connection between lack of support, especially early childhood family or community support and the development of PTSD. (Study from Israel shows family support in early childhood reduces instances of PTSD) – whoops, slipping into the dollar version, here.
Look at the family that kid grew up in. It might be too late for him, but he should be moved to a version of the witness protection program that separates him from that toxic environment if he is to have a chance of recovering.
SAVE TRACK FROM HIS FAMILY’S “BLUEBERRIES”!

He came back a bit different? Then she blames Obama! Find out about Walter Reed ex-governor. You know when it had rats in it and Cheney said it looked all right to him. Fuck these people.

Track was allegedly involved in cutting the brake lines of a school bus before his military service. Normal kids don’t do that.

Yeah, those stories about Mooselini sending Trick/Track/Truck off to Afa-gaffa-stan to (allegedly) clean him up and hide his (alleged) meth ways keeps sounding more and more likely.
