One Lump of Stupid or Two, Paul Ryan?

"Oh, gross," said the fish

“Oh, gross,” said the fish

“This is a distraction. The president clearly does not respect the Second Amendment rights for law-abiding Americans. I think it would be nice if he actually focused on defeating ISIS, on calling radical Islamic terrorism what it actually is instead of talking about how he can intimidate and frustrate the Second Amendment rights of law abiding citizens. We will look at all of our options, but we will not take this distraction for more than it is, a distraction.”

Shorter Ryan: I want to distract everyone from domestic terrorism, i.e., the Republican base.

(He’s not very good at his job, now is he?)

And in related Zombie-eyed Granny-starving news, he’s shaved.

This is a distraction from his flaming political career, also too.

But he’s so good at being there.

Law abiding citizens needn’t be concerned about a background check. They’ll be cleared to own and carry their death machines (gawd help us.) The same for those without a mental illness, history of drug abuse or anger management problems.

If the old saying “If guns are outlawed then only outlaws will have guns” were to come true I would feel much safer walking down the street than I do today. Criminals only want your money or your car and a gun makes it easy. No one is going to argue with person holding a gun.

The ammo-sexual nut jobs with six AR-15′, and 50-100 round clips want to kill people. Lots of people. They dream of killing police, soldiers, random people in a movie theater, children at school, the girl who turned them down for a date in High School 20 years ago.
Why else would they need so many guns and 500,000 rounds of ammunition?

In their dreams their Rambo victorious and strong. In reality, if they posed a credible threat to any government they would targets for a drone strike.

That’s a pretty interesting constitutional theory up there, that the Bill of Rights only applies to “law abiding citizens”, so much so that he has to repeat it.
