Death of the Media

Breaking 2016 Goat Rodeo News!

Breaking 2016 Goat Rodeo News!

Oh, fer Pete’s Sake: Dems near Clinton panic mode

So it seems that Rodham-Clinton’s campaign manager Robbie Mook decided to send out a memo to (inside the beltway) Dims telling them to get a grip, and our elite media is jumping on it as proof! Proof! PROOF!!1! that her campaign is doomed and all hands are lost.

One can almost hear noted sage Cokie Roberts slurring next Sunday that the Dims better have a viable back-up plan (meaning NOT Bernie Sanders, because, well, “that old Commie is not one of us”) because clearly it is all over. She, for one, welcomes our new Preznint ¡JEB! (Because the Donald is not one of them, either? Yes.)

Just a couple of facts to keep in mind, fellas:

  • 454 days until Election Day 2016
  • 61 days until the first Democratic debate
  • 34 days until the next Republican debate

You have a long, long time to run your horse race. The nags are still in the stables, chewing on some oats, and dreaming of becoming the next Triple-Crown Winner instead of pulling the plough out in the south 40.

In the meanwhile, why don’t you try writing about issues instead of telling us about who has the most money? or who is up/down in the latest polls a full f***ing year and change from the election. Let’s try for some substance.

Oh, and this is not an endorsement of any candidate or a slam to anyone (except Cokie, ¡JEB!, and our elite media)

Hit piece! Again! Some people say, some people said! Oh that goofy liberal media, what are we going to do with it? Is The Hill a right wing rag? Is it liberal? I cannot tell any more, they *all* toe the line when it comes to HRC and any other Clinton. So when they proclaim about this unfortunate credibility and trustworthiness problem that HRC has, it smacks of the dog eating the homework.
Remember Hamlet? Hamlet’s father was killed by the pouring of poison into his ear. At the time, that was believed to be deadly, but it is also a nice visual for this kind of gossip and innuendo pouring poison into the ear of the electorate to kill HRC’s chances.
I have a few quibbles with the article. To wit:
“The Clinton campaign’s decision to give up the server and a thumb drive containing backup copies of emails left Democrats scratching their heads as to why the former secretary of State had resisted for months turning over the server.”
Resisted? When? Oh, maybe when the stupid Issa committee, with a history of leaking evidence, asked for it illegally? As in, HRC was not allowed to give the servers to these jackals because the US security could be compromised according to the state department, so she did as Issa’s superiors directed and finally handed over the servers when they finally said ‘tell you what, just give us your servers and we’ll look into those emails.” But perhaps I am misinformed, but I did think they had requested her emails in groups before this.
Followed immediately by a quote from the same “anonymous source” that the cover up is ten times worse then the crime, even though there was no crime. Wait – isn’t ten times zero still zero? Math is hard.
Then there is this beauty from “the Democratic strategist” – Sheinkof? Maybe? “Put everything out first, on your terms/” Yeah, that always works so well for HRC – she puts something out there in the morning and by the evening it has been twisted into ‘watch me shoot this watermelon. it isn’t a threat or anything, it just proves that the Clintons killed Foster’ or ‘Clintons lie again about taking all the W’s from all white house keyboards’ (side note – another comment leaked at that time that each new administration brings their own computers in anyway) or something equally ludicrous. And this clown has the nerve to call this situation bizarre because of HRC’s actions?
And finally, [deep breath] *again with the “coronation” bull! What is it with these jokers?*

Sorry, I got a little vociferous there. This shyte has been going on for over two decades now, and no amount of the perpetrators getting called on it seems to make any kind of dent, so I am a little frustrated. (See Daily Howler, who has many examples of the smearing of Gore)

    Because they’ll get fired.

Bernie has a spine. But yeah, a democrat for the primary, then back to independence unless he wins. Hope he wins.
