Thank-you Jeebus: Rick Perry 2016 Goat Rodeo Edition

"Ah saw Linda Lovelace do this once."

“Ah saw Linda Lovelace to this once.”

From Tiger Beat on the Potomac:

Texas Gov. Rick Perry is inviting hundreds of prominent Republican donors and policy experts to a series of gatherings next month that are intended to rebuild his damaged national brand and lay the foundation for a potential 2016 presidential campaign, fundraisers and organizers confirmed to POLITICO.

So what are the steps Rick Perry is taking?

  1. “small-group sessions kick off Tuesday and Wednesday in Austin with a pair of lunches and dinners held in the governor’s mansion”
  2. “policy briefings at the nearby office of Perry senior adviser Jeff Miller”
  3. Oops. I forget.

Like shooting fish in a barrel.

#3 is Tea Party at the Governors mansion. Also too, all of the above paid for by the good citizens of TX. “Thank you for your tax dollars,” Governor Perry did not say.

      Roket –

Mooselini might be the dowager queen of the grifters, but Perry has a gift for milking tax dollars. I believe that he is a millionaire several times over and he has never worked in the private sector except for a short period of time as a door-to-door salesman.

Some Chicago alderman, as quoted by the late Mike Royko: “Conflict of interest? How does this conflict with my interest?”

I’ve said it before and the feeling remains…
If for just one day I could have a penis, I’d drive to Austin and slap Rick Perry in the forehead with it.
