I Watched Solid 3 Hours of TV Last Night

I watched all 3 episodes last night with Mrs. grs. We started watching it by chance and stayed up to watch the whole thing.

MAKERS: Women Who Make America tells the remarkable story of the most sweeping social revolution in American history, as women have asserted their rights to a full and fair share of political power, economic opportunity, and personal autonomy. It’s a revolution that has unfolded in public and private, in courts and Congress, in the boardroom and the bedroom, changing not only what the world expects from women, but what women expect from themselves.

A little perspective is always a good thing. I felt like it could have dug a little deeper into current events, but they only had 3 hours to cover several decades. Some people and their actions were covered more deeply and given more air time. All 3 episodes are available to watch on PBS.

Good stuff, catch it if you can.

PBS has also been running a great series on the fight for black equality from the 60s on. Especially relevant as it looks like the Supers are on the verge of overturning the Voting Rights Provisions.
