Bad Ads – the new series

What were they thinking!

I suppose they could save a little soap, too.

Hints, tips, badvertising that you find, send’em on to tengrain AT mockpaperscissors DOT com. They don’t have to be vintage, but there seems to be a lot of really, truly bad ads out there. Our Curator, Mountjoy will be deeply involved in our ad campaign, a veritable Don Draper, as it were.

    Ad campaigns are always rated by how successful they are, how much product they moved. This one reminds me, I’d like to see some of the least successful campaigns, where big money was spent and the product ended up less popular than before.

    There was a recent Puma shoes billboard series that looked to me like a giant money dump designed by a 20 year old. Or the ads where you have no idea what the product even is, or who the target market is. All hail corporate America.
